MELISSA THALJI, ESQUIRE

Melissa graduated from Stetson University in 1996 magna cum laude and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida law school in 1999 with High Honors.  She has been certified as a mediator by the Florida Supreme Court.  She worked at Fowler White Boggs, P.A. for ten years in the areas of commercial  and business litigation, including insurance litigation, corporate and partnership disputes, dissolution actions and contract disputes.  She also specialized in trusts and estates litigation and real estate matters.   Melissa joined STAMATAKIS + THALJI in 2009 focusing her practice on auto accident, personal injury, foreclosure defense, real estate litigation and bankruptcy.

Melissa is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts as well as the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Florida and U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida.  She is a member of the American Bar Association and Hillsborough County Bar Association.  She was on the Executive Council of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Litigation section of the Florida Bar and was named to Who’s Who in the State of Florida,  She has also taught business law at Hillsborough Community College for several semesters.

Melissa is also involved in the community as part of the Tampa Gator Club and Avila Women’s Club.  She also volunteers at a local school and has three children.
