The Credit Repair Process
Step 1: Forward your Credit Reports
After you hire our firm you will begin by forwarding to us your three major credit reports. We can help you purchase your credit report or you can provide them to us through one fo the various services. As we complete each stage of repair you should be provided with updates from the three credit reporting bureaus. You will forward each update to our law firm so we can track the progress of our attempts to remove the questionable items on your credit reports.
Step 2: Choose which credit lines to question
Our staff will enter your credit report information into our database once you provide us with your credit reports. You then choose which the questionable items on your report to be challenged. Our staff will work with you to make this process as simple as possible.
Step 3: STAMATAKIS + THALJI works on your case
Our law firm uses our knowledge of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act as well as our various credit repair strategies when challenging questionable items on your credit report directly with the credit bureaus. The process of challenging questionable items on your credit report is performed in cycles, the number of which depends on the number of questionable items on your various credit reports.
Step 4: Wait for the Results
Once a questionable item is challenged the credit bureaus have 30 days to investigate your dispute. After the credit bureau investigation is complete, they must submit the results to you and send you an updated report. Once the questionable item has been disputed, it typically takes 60 days to receive an updated credit report. Once a response is received from the credit bureau, you will need to make a copy of your updated credit report to keep for your personal records and send the original to STAMATAKIS + THALJI. From their, we begin a new cycle until we have addressed all of the questionable items remaining on your credit report.
